Gree Meida Launches New Printers
Chinese aftermarket company Gree Meida has recently launched its own branded thermal printer series and hand-held inkjet printer.
Gree Meida is the wholly-stationary company of Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai, which is a Fortune Top 500 company, and is famous for Gree-branded air conditioner and other household appliance products.
Established in 1986, Gree Meida is one of the earliest and largest manufacturers of printing consumables in China, covering product range of toner cartridges, ribbon cartridges, nylons and refill kits. Its own brand MMC is well-known by the industry and the consumers.
The company released thermal printer 80 series and 58 series. Gree Meida claimed the core components cutter and printhead are independently developed for 80 series, and printhead is independently developed for 58 series.

2019 is the new start of Chinese printing. Visitors are surprised by the variety and quality by the Chinese printers showcased at RemaxWorld this year.
“Our MMC branded printing consumables are well known by the dealers and consumers, and we are strong in R&D. Now we have developed printer products with our partners. We started planning the entire industrial chain ecosystem of printers and consumables,” Kezheng Ou, director of Technology Center of Gree Meida told RT Media.
According to Gree Media, the company will lanched label printers, barcode printers, thermal transfer printers and dot-matrix printer in the future.
