Canon continues filing infringement reports to Amazon, seeking to remove certain toner cartridges from Canada, Germany and Mexico.

• Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain models including CB540A, CB541A, CB542A, CB543A, CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A, CE410A, CE411A, CE412A, CE413A, CF210A, CF211A, CF212A and CF213A toner cartridges sold by HEHAIRIYONGPIN – Canada via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. • Canon’s infringement report alleged that claim 65 of Mexican Patent Number 317598 was infringed by certain models CC530A, CC531A, CC532A and CC533A toner cartridges offered by JinNiuQuHeHaiRongRiYongPinJingYingBu under the Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASINs) B07VBMLDHG, B07XRH8BNR, B07XC735D7, B07XRPMBJN and B07VDQY24Z. After receiving Canon’s Report Infringement Form, Amazon removed the respective products, and at the time of this announcement, the above-identified listings of JinNiuQuHeHaiRongRiYongPinJingYingBu were no longer available on Amazon.mx.

These products are compatible with the above OEM HP cartridge models CC530A, CC531A, CC532A, CC533A, CE410A, CE411A, CE412A, CE413A, CB540A, CB541A ,CB542A, CB543A, CE320A, CE321A, CE322A and CE323A, and provide inter alia a non-OEM housing and a non-OEM force receiving device according to claim 1 of EP ‘289. Furthermore, they comprise an elastic portion according to claim 2 of EP ‘289.
