Based in New York and West Pam Beach, Siris is a private equity firm focusing on investing and driving value creation in technology companies. Fiery was acquired by Siris in 2019 and later spun off as part of Siris’s strategy. Now Fiery is a leading provider of DFE servers and workflow solutions for global print industry. With a history of more than 30 years and a customer base of more than 2 million worldwide, Fiery elevates workplace and enterprise with smart solutions, aiming to foster productivity and collaboration across all levels of landscapes.

The transaction is estimated to be worth US$591 million and close within this year once all customary closing conditions are met. After the acquisition, Fiery will become a member of Epson group while operating independently: it will retain its original company name, organizational structure as well as offices.

With a similar history of supporting customers in the printing industry to maximize efficiency, Epson hopes to complement its strategic vision with Fiery’s capabilities in software solutions through this acquisition and future partnership. Yasunori Ogawa, president and representative director of Epson, showed great confidence and delight in this cooperation. “Together with Fiery, we remain committed to contributing to our customers’ success and enhancing corporate value as we pursue new opportunities in the evolving printing landscape.”
