Canon Launches imageFORCE C7165 to Reinforce Businesses

Canon recently announced the launch of the imageFORCE C7165 multifunction printer, which is empowered by its imageFORCE technology platform and AI machine learning.

The MFP is designed to cater to the evolving demands of businesses amid the frequent disruption in work styles and workplaces, including cloud computing and AI. With the imageFORCE C7165, businesses can now achieve enhanced productivity and printing quality comparable production print, making it ideal for companies with in-house printing needs. High-Definition Image Quality

Incorporated with the D² Exposure technology, the imageFORCE C7165 is the only office multifunction printer on the market that can deliver images of up to 4800dpi resolution. The application of OLEDs as light source also contributes to a wider color gamut, improved smoothness, and sharper texts. Businesses can now deliver high-quality in-house materials including flyers, posters, pamphlets and banners.

AI-Assisted Reliability

The new device has implemented AI to provide users with more secure and reliable experience. Through Canon’s Security Environment Estimation Technology, the optimal security settings are recommended by default, and unknown changes to the network are prompted in real time for minimal vulnerabilities. AI machine learning is also applied to support maintenance, predicting life time of each part and potential failures to minimize office downtime.

Support for Various Papers

Equipped with a fan on the tray that adjusts to environmental change, the imageFORCE C7165 can avoid paper adhesion while feeding paper, facilitating business workflow. This feature helps to improve the productivity of coated paper printing in particular, allowing up to 50 sheets of 128g paper to be loaded at once. It also supports larger paper sizes and water-resistant paper, which helps support the in-office production of applications.

Committed to Sustainability

In addition to an environmentally friendly design with 30% recycled plastics, the imageFORCE C7165 features an innovative technology that allows businesses to track their environmental performance and monitor their footprint. For example, information is provided on paper usage and energy consumption to encourage more sustainable user behavior.

The imageFORCE C7165 will be the first model of the imageFORCE line-up, with more devices to be rolled out in the future. This model is slated to be shipped from early November this year.
