Static Control Intros Aftermarket Solutions for HP Cartridges
Static Control released 6 products this week, including comprehensive solutions for HP LaserJet Enterprise M806 cartridges and three replacement chips.
According to Static Control, the Odyssey® toner for HP M806 was developed and manufactured in-house by the supplies giant to provide OEM-comparable image density and page yield. Static Control claims the toner additives do not build-up on the PCR, preventing TAB (toner additive buildup) related print defects, and does not wear out other components during the 34,500 page cartridge cycle.
Also released was an Odyssey® OPC drum with ZeroTwist™ Gears (Product Code: PGDRHM806), which was developed for optimum performance with the toner. STATIC CONTROL says ZeroTwist™ Gear Technology is protected by two U.S. patents and does not infringe the Canon gear patents involved in the ITC’s 2013 General Exclusion Order.
In addition, replacement conversion end plates were offered that can be used to convert abundant HP 9000 cartridge cores to an HP M806 cartridge. These plates have been designed specifically to work with Static Control’s patented HP 9000 Cartridge End Cap Removal System (Product Code: 9KCSS/9KCSS-2CE).
Static Control also fielded a replacement chip for use in HP 670 XL cartridges featuring Static Control’s patented ink gauge technology, providing full functionality while avoiding HP’s U.S. and European patents.
Another two replacement chips were also released, one for use in Ricoh SP 3400 cartridges, the other for Ricoh SP 3510 cartridges.
