Berto Puts the Wrong Powder in the Printer

Berto Puts the Wrong Powder in the Printer

A normal day at the office means using the printer or copier more than a couple of times. You go to the device to get the printed copies. Everone else does the same thing.

Printers and copiers are the busiest machines in the office. Like any machine, they are prone to the usual wear and tear with continued use. Of course, the toner needs to be replenished when it runs low.

As a machine ages, it may exhibit problems like streaky prints or paper jams.  However, these issues can be minimized with proper maintenance. There are some websites that deal with printer and copier problems, but regular upkeep is the best prevention.

Many problems have occurred because someone in the office has put the wrong toner into the printer. This mistake can lead to serious issues, as toners for copiers and printers are different. Each printer brand —HP, Canon, Brother, Samsung, Lexmark, and Pantum-uses toners with unique formulations. They should not be confused.

Berto Puts the Wrong Powder in the Printer – Tall tale or true?

There is a story of a person who “allegedly” visited a trade show for printers and toners. While there, he visited an exhibit where he was invited to sit and enjoy a coffee with the staff in the booth while they discussed the toners available for his customers’ machines. He (allegedly) enjoyed the coffee so much that one of the staff offered him an unopened bag of ground coffee to take back home.  Yes. You guessed correctly: the bag of toner and the bag of coffee were mixed up (allegedly), and the ground coffee was poured (allegedly) into his office printer.

A tall tale? Or true?

It doesn’t matter. Our resident cartoonist, Berto, enjoyed the moment with this month’s delightful cartoon.
