Bio Toners Not So Enviro-friendly -it grows on you Berto
Bio-toners have been developed as an alternative to the current toners that are in your printer cartridges. The use of bio–toner in your printer is just like a regular toner, but it is made from a substance that is safe for the planet.
What is one of the top three edible crops grown by American farmers that can also play a role in the growth of eco-friendly printing? Give up? Soy! Many Americans don’t know it, but soybeans are useful beyond just being a healthy vegetarian dinner. Just as in gasoline, soy may soon replace petroleum as a green substitute in printing ink
Some bio-toners are also made from palm oil products that are a renewal energy source. Read more.
Currently, the demand for bio-toners is not sufficient to be economically viable, and this is preventing the use of it in your printer cartridges.
