Having Perfect 20-20 Vision – Berto looks ahead to 2020
If your eye doctor tells you you have 20-20 vision, it means you have perfect or “normal” eyesight. Vision is usually measured with a Snellen chart. Snellen charts display letters of progressively smaller size. “Normal” vision is 20/20. This means that the test subject sees the same line of letters at 20 feet that person with normal vision sees at 20 feet.
To be effective in business, leaders also need to have a vision. Those who can rise up and see further than what others can see have greater potential to achieve great things.
At RT Media we have captured a vision for the year 2020. We are inviting key suppliers and key buyers to “have 20-20 vision for 2020.”
Having a vision means having a clear sense of purpose. We have a much larger picture of our business than simply setting and reaching short term goals and tackling problems as they come along. Visions are driven by passion and dreams, and they are reflected through real efforts to create real results.
“You’ve got to give yourself the freedom to dream – to use your imagination to see and feel what does not yet exist. A vision is not the same as goals or objectives; those come from the head. A vision comes from the heart.” ~ John Graham
Berto has captured the image in this month’s cartoon. Despite the threats that may lurk behind us, we have a solid vision for 2020. The team at RT Media will hold intense, one-day VIP Expos for business leaders in Pakistan, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Ethiopia, Algeria and Nigeria as well as in China in 2020.
