Following Chipjet, Apex is also quick to respond to the latest firmware upgrade on the Samsung SL-M2085 printer.
Apex told RT that it has upgraded its chips. Apex claims that its upgraded chips, after strict testing, can now be used for cartridges that are used in HP w1110A&K200 series printers. Production and delivery are assumed for the whole range.
As detected on April 7, HP launched new firmware updates to Samsung SL-M2085 printer, causing compatible cartridges not to be recognized by the printer. Messages of “Install toner cartridge” and “Toner cartridge is not installed. Install the cartridge” were shown on the printer screen and the computer respectively.
