Apex Releases Chip Solution for Epson A4 Color MFP
China-based Apex has announced the release of its first-to-market chip solution for Epson A4 color inkjet multifunction device EW-M530F.
According to the company, the new solution comes with consistent performance and is claimed to be easy to install in recycled cartridges.

In October 2020, Epson launched the A4 color inkjet multifunction device EW-M530F in Japan. With compact size, it is suitable for small to medium size workgroups in any businesses.
Previously, Apex announced that its updated version of replacement chips will not be affected by HP recent firmware upgrade. Apex monitored that HP updated firmware 2024, 2025, 2026, 2039, 2042, 2043 on 90X/95X series printers on December 1.
The company also claimed that its replacement cartridges for the HP 902, 903, 904, 905, 906XL, 907XL, 908XL, 909XL and the HP 952, 953, 954, 955, 956XL, 957XL, 958XL and 959XL series are all safe from the annoying updates that could have potentially impacted aftermarket supplies.
On August 24, HP sent out a warning with an announcement on its website that a scheduled update would be released on December 1, 2020 that could impact the OEM’s customers.
