Up to now, Ricoh has launched MP C2503/2504/C3503/3504 series and upgraded IM C2000/C3000/6000 machines with high market share, whose applicable cartridges are incompatible. Apex has now launched the new IM 03/04 universal replacement chips that can be used for the above models to reduce production cost pressure for customers and help them seize business opportunities.
Previously, Apex released a solution to the latest HP firmware update which rejects compatible chips from working in HP printers that use HP W1110/1333/2080 series cartridges.
According to Apex, its R&D department reacted immediately after the latest HP firmware update was made by HP on its printers.
Apex claims that the upgrade solution ensures its chips can work as normal in the HP printers that use HP W1110A/W2080A series cartridges.
