Armor Group Sets Ambitious Growth Targets for 2025
Building on its foundation of innovation and industrial expertise, Armor Group is poised to expand its global presence in 2025, despite challenges in the broader economic environment.
With a focus on strategic recruitment, industrial investments, and fostering long-term partnerships, the Group aims to solidify its standing in existing markets while venturing into new territories.
Expanding Global Reach
Armor Group’s subsidiaries demonstrated significant progress in 2024, which is set to continue this year. For example, Armor-IIMAK, the world’s leading producer of thermal transfer ribbons, expanded its operations with the opening of a second facility in Cape Town, South Africa, and established a local stock and logistics service in Mumbai, India.
In 2025, the company plans to extend its presence further by investing in new cutting facilities and establishing a sales subsidiary in Dubai to support customers across the Arabian Peninsula. With these initiatives, Armor-IIMAK continues its global growth trajectory, targeting sales of €360 million in 2024, an increase of nearly 3% compared to 2023.
Focus on Industrial Innovation
Armor Group is also prioritizing industrial investments to enhance its production capabilities. At the end of 2024, Armor Smart Films installed a flat-screen printing facility, representing an investment exceeding €800,000. In 2025, Armor-IIMAK’s Amherst, NY facility in North America will undergo key upgrades, including advancements in ink manufacturing, coating processes, and the introduction of a new robotized cutting cell.
Christian Lefort, Managing Director of Armor-IIMAK, emphasized the company’s readiness to address emerging industry needs. “We are particularly proud of the progress we have made since acquiring IIMAK in 2021. Having weathered the crises of recent years, we are well-prepared to respond to innovations like the GS1 augmented QR code, the next generation barcode, where thermal transfer remains the optimal printing solution,” Lefort stated.
Through strategic expansions and investments, Armor Group aims to maintain its commitment to innovation and adaptability while meeting the evolving needs of customers worldwide. As the Group continues to strengthen its international footprint, it remains focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions across diverse industries.
