Brother Philippines Unveils New Printers
BROTHER International Corp. Philippines (BICP) aims to strengthen its market share in the business sector by bringing in new range of product offerings.
Glenn P. Hocson, BICP country manager, said the company’s 2012 market share in the laser multifunction category is at 30 percent, while single-use printers account for 18 percent of the market. With the new devices, the company aims to account for 50 percent and 30 percent, respectively, by 2015.
Brother has projected $7.5- billion net sales by 2015 from a target of $5.7 billion in 2013, Atsushi Iwamoto, Brother Industries sales and marketing group manager, said.
BICP unveiled a new range of monochrome laser printers and multifunction devices. The four new printer models—HL-1110, DCP-1510, MFC-1810, and MFC-1815—are developed to meet the needs of markets like individual consumers, as well as small and medium businesses.
“The new models we are introducing to consumers and businesses in the Philippines provides a winning combination of exceptional reliability with high-quality printouts at irresistible value. The series is a dream come true for users who want it all—reliability, affordability and design,” said Hocson.
