Brother Releases 10 New Laser and Multifunction Printers
Indian customers are cost conscious and tech savvy, so delivering value on both parameters is a challenge for any printer manufacturer.
According to Deccan Chronicle, Brother International India has launched four new mono laser printers and six multifunction printers in India.
The new products include HL-1201, HL-1211W, HL-L2321D, HL-L2361DN mono laser printers, as well as DCP-1601, DCP-1616NW, MFC-1911NW, DCP-L2541DW, MFC-L2701D, MFC-L2701DW multifunction printers.
Brother claims the new machines, designed to meet the needs of SOHOs and Small Medium Businesses (SMBs) will play a very crucial role to capture a 25% mono laser market share for Brother in India by 2017.
Mr Yoshiji Matsui, MD, Brother International India said, “Brother India is expected to grow to a maximum within the entire Asia-Pacific region. To achieve this we have been constantly working on our distribution network to ensure smooth availability of our products. We have invested heavily on manpower by adding sales forces. We complimented the above initiatives by brand building activities like outdoor ads/ in-shop branding, which are aimed at enabling visibility in the market.”
