Brother Releases New Laser Printers and MFPs

Brother International has upgraded features on its expanded line of business-class color laser printers and MFP/All-in-Ones.

Brother has released seven new models. All of them support print and scan up to 21.6cm x 38cm (8.5” x 15”). While the HL models are standalone-printers, the MFCs are multi-function printers. The new models are: HL‐L8260CDW (US$529.99 MSRP), HL‐L8360CDW (US$649.99 MSRP), HL‐L8360CDWT (US$799.99 MSRP), MFC‐L8610CDW (US$849.99 MSRP), and MFC‐L8900CDW (US$949.99 MSRP).

Brother claims these models have high security features such as Secure Function Lock, which allows administrators to restrict usage and limit functions on certain users. All the new models include touchscreens that enable users to create up to 64 customizable shortcuts for their convenience. They also allow users to access and edit documents online via Brother Apps.

All the new MFPs have upgraded scanning speeds and can print in larger volumes. On the other hand, the laser printers feature enhanced capacities in speed, printing volume, and connectivity.

It is worth mentioning that both the HL‐L8360CDW printer and MFC‐L8900CDW MFP are compatible with high-yield cartridges for low-cost printing.

In North America, the new models will be available via online retailers, office superstores and Brother authorized resellers. The HL printers will be available by the end of March, while the all-in-ones will be available later, in April.
