Brother Targets 30% Growth in Taiwan Market in 2014
According to Taiwan’s market research and consulting firm DigiTimes, Brother Industries Taiwan plans to achieve 30% year-on-year growth in printer sales in the Taiwan market this year.
Brother noted it started to sell printers through retail chains like Tsann Kuen and E-Life Mall in 2013. In 2014, it will cooperate with more retail partners to expand the sales network. Apart from consumer printers, Brother will promote tag and label printers to industrial users. To attain the marketing goal, Brother said it will intensify media advertising as well as social networking promotions.
As was revealed by Brother Industries Taiwan, Brother produces all of its printers in-house while maintaining overseas factories in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
