Fuan Lou, president of Deli and Hideki Ozawa, chairman and CEO of Canon China attended the ceremony on October 31, 2019 and signed a declaration on a comprehensive strategic partnership on behalf of both parties.
Established 38 years ago, Deli is the largest office supplies and stationery group in China and is Asia’s largest stationery manufacturing base. Its traditional distribution, e-commerce, B2B business and overseas business have been growing rapidly, and the company is capable to build global sales network.
“The current market is changing very fast and the economic growth is facing challenges. We believe our strategic partnership will meet the market demand, and will also create a new collaboration model between industry companies,” said Lou.
Ozawa said, “Deli is a pivotal company in the Chinese office industry. Canon is willing to work together with Deli to develop new markets.” “This is the first cooperation between the two companies, and the cooperation will expand. It is a win-win cooperation.” He added.
Following the collaboration between Ninestar and Konica Minolta, this collaboration may inspire other potential cooperation between other OEMs and other industries.
