Canon Introduces SELPHY QX20 Compact Photo printer
Canon announced its latest portable photo printer, the SELPHY QX20. The new product features compact size, borderless prints, and high levels of creativeness.
Supporting Different Sizes
In addition to compatibility to the square photo papers XS-20L in previous models, the SELPHY QX20 supports a new card-size format paper XC-20L, sized 85mm × 54mm. Users can cut the printed photos into any shape and use them as stickers for various needs, including memory keeping, decorating belongings, and scrapbooking. The new product allows users to DIY their own works creatively.
Durable Prints for Decades
Thanks to the thermal sublimation printing technology, the SELPHY QX20 can yield photos with extremely high quality, smooth gradation and vivid colors. The additional sharpening function enables users to accentuate the details of photos even more clearly. After printing photos, the printer will laminate them to prevent fading and damage caused from lighting, liquid, stain and air. Once printed on the seal paper, the photos can be preserved for up to 100 years, saving your special moments permanently.
Enhanced Ease-of-use and User Experience
Connectivity options of SELPHY QX20 are comprehensive. Users can connect their smartphones to the printer as simply as downloading a dedicated app. Once connected, there is no further configurations needed in the future, and printing can be completed all in the app. Moreover, the app allows users to personalize their prints by adding filters, texts and drawings, making printing a fun and creative task.
Commitment to Sustainability
The concept of environmental friendliness is reflected in several designs of SELPHY QX20. For its packages, the use of single-use plastic is minimized, replaced by materials like non-fabric and paper. Consumables are also designed to rid any metal elements, allowing them to be recycled and reused more easily.
The SELPHY QX20 will be available from October 2024. Canon is pushing the boundaries of what a compact photo printer can do. The integration of card-size and square-format printing options, alongside the durability of seal paper, not only meets but redefines user expectations for on-the-go photo printing.
