Canon Launches imagePROGRAF PRO-310 Inkjet Printer

Canon U.S.A., Inc. has introduced the imagePROGRAF PRO-310 Professional Inkjet Printer, a 13-inch model designed for professional and prosumer photographers, students, and individuals seeking high-quality color reproduction with long-lasting durability.

The PRO-310 features Canon’s newly developed LUCIA PRO II pigment ink system, a 10-color ink set aimed at delivering improved image quality and enhanced resistance to light. With advanced ink formulations, the printer offers deeper black density on art paper and a Chroma Optimizer that reduces glossiness inconsistencies and helps suppress bronzing effects.

The new ink system incorporates wax to enhance scratch resistance, making prints more durable during handling, framing, transportation, and display. Additionally, the PRO-310 includes a nozzle recovery system that automatically compensates for detected clogs, reducing print waste and minimizing the need for frequent maintenance. A built-in skew correction mechanism helps stabilize paper feeding, particularly for thick media, to improve printing accuracy.

Canon has also focused on sustainability with this model. The PRO-310 has registered for EPEAT Gold designation, signifying compliance with sustainability leadership criteria. In line with Canon’s environmental commitments, the packaging eliminates polystyrene foam in favor of recyclable corrugated cardboard.
