Canon Requests Certain Toner Cartridges Removed Again

Canon Inc. announced the filing of infringement reports with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon’s infringement reports alleged that certain models of toner cartridges sold on the Amazon.com website infringed one or more of Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,280,278; 8,630,564; 8,682,215; and 8,688,008. In particular, Canon requested that Amazon remove the listings below.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified listings were no longer available from these sellers on Amazon.com.

Previous Case

Canon Inc. announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.ca seeking the removal of an Amazon.ca listing for certain toner cartridges sold by DTHXT.

Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF380A, CF381A, CF382A, CF383A, CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A, CB540A, CB541A, CB542A, CB543A, CC530A, CC531A, CC532A, CC533A,CE410A, CE411A, CE412A, CE413A, CF210A, CF211A, CF212A and CF213A toner cartridges sold by DTHXT via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791.
