Canon Unveils New Oce Wide-format Printers
Canon recently rolls out two new Océ wide-format printers–the PlotWave 340 and 360 printers. Both are monochrome printers offering a new standard in user interaction and cloud integration. They feature high speed and flexible system that help users save time and money. Made by Océ and launched by Canon USA, the printers feature a new multi-touch user panel.
The machines also have cloud features working through Océ’s ClearConnect software, mobile printing being available through the brand’s Publisher Mobile App over WiFi, as well as USB and local network interconnectivity. Owing to Radiant Fusing technology, the machines can print large documents in one minute, without warm-up time.
Furthermore, while printing, the machines can use multiple image formats and an eco-friendly fusing method “consumes less energy and emits less noise”. Users can view any document before printing with interconnectivity with Windows through the Wide-format Printer Driver 2.0.
Sal Sheikh, Vice President of Large Format Systems at Canon Solutions America, commented, “This new system was developed to address the practical needs of technical users who are working on projects with other parties via online portals or the cloud and require more flexibility from their multifunctional printing system.”
