Cartridge World Plans 15 New Locations in France
According to Franchise-Magazine, Cartridge World set up 9 stores in the first 8 months of 2014 and plans to expand its footprint in 15 new locations throughout the year. The 9 store locations include Moulins in February, Nevers in April and Rennes in May. Also, Cartridge World signed agreements to take over three new outlets including those in Bergerac and Périgueux. This year, more than a third of Cartridge World’s franchisees in France each own two or more stores. These stores account for 50% of the entire CW sales network in France.
The Australia-based ink and toner specialty retailer and franchisor has more than 135 franchisees in France and 1,600 worldwide. Last year, the company set up 12 stores in France, “an average of one every month.”
In 2013, Cartridge World achieved a turnover of €24 million ($31.5 million USD), up 3.4% compared with 2012.
