Cartridge World Supports Global Recycling Day

As Global Recycling Day is around the corner, Cartridge World is taking the opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of recycling with its global customers.

Cartridge World will launch its campaign on social media to support Global Recycling Day which is on March 18, 2021.

The global franchise network will focus on celebrating recycling heroes, valuable customers, masters and licensees.

“We will invite our customers and our followers to comment on our post to show they play their part towards recycling, maybe even including a photo, then ask them to like and share the post to raise awareness,” said Edwin Lui, Global CEO of Cartridge World. “Recycling is a core part of the Cartridge World business and have contributed massively over the years in minimising the amount of e-waste going into landfill. Due to COVID, there has been a huge rise in the amount of office equipment being used in the home, and this contributes to a rise in e-waste potentially going into landfill. Cartridge World is working to raise awareness for the importance of recycling and ensuring e-waste is treated responsibly, “ Edwin added.

According to globalrecyclingday.com, recycling is on the front line in the war to save the future of our planet and humanity.

Lui told RT Media that those who use Cartridge World products and services are recycling heroes.

“They are the ones who care about the environment. We help customers to print responsibly by understanding their printing needs, choosing the right printer, right cartridges to meet their needs. We educate customers on how to print smartly, use their printer correctly and maintaining their printer properly so as to prolong the lifespan of their printer so fewer printers going to landfill, “Edwin explained.

“Yes, for many other industry players, resellers, more prints mean more cartridges, more business. But that’s not Cartridge World business model. We exist not just because people want to print but people want to save – save money and also save the environment,” Lui continued.
