China Ranks No. 2 in Global Printing Market
According to Ecns.cn, official statistics showed that China became the second largest printing market worldwide in 2013.
As was reported, the State Administration of Press Publication, Radio, Film and Television at China (Shanghai) International Printing Week stated that China’s printing industry output was over one trillion yuan (about US$160 billion) last year, marking up 9.3% year on year and ranking second in the global printing market. Wang Yanbin, Head of the administration’s printing and issuing department, asserted that the country boasts 105,000 printing companies with over 3.4 million employees, and the industry has recorded fast growth in international trade.
Mr. Wang said, “More Chinese firms are eyeing the world printing market. During the event, a sales order platform was launched to target markets in Europe, America and the Middle East.”
