ChipJet Offers Tips to Identify Correct Consumables
Feedback received by Chinese-based Chipjet has revealed distributors and end-users are confused about what toner cartridge consumables should be used in the latest release of HP printers.
The newly released, ultra-high yield series of laser printers from HP is the LaserJet 100 series. Chipjet was quick to provide two quick tips that can help users find out which supplies they should be ordering and using in their new devices.
- Via Drivers (without consumables)
- Click “Start” to find the “Devices and Printers” option
- Find the corresponding Printer Model
- Right-click on it and choose “Printing preferences” to enter the detail page
Find “Printer Status” in the page to see the corresponding printer consumables you need for that printer.
- Via Printer (With Consumables)
- Find “System Setup” in the printer’s menu page
- Find “Supplies Info” in the “Report” page, and press the “OK” button to print
- The printed status report will reveal information about the printer consumables you need for that printer.
“Knowing how to recognize printers’ consumables you need can help you to refill consumables in time when toner low or out, so as to save working time and complete printing job faster and better,” said a Chipjet company spokesman.
Chipjet has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing printing consumables chips for over a decade with its own, autonomous intellectual property rights chip testing platform. Chipjet’s product range covers products for multiple fields including inkjet, laserjet and copier and has completed research and development of over 280 patent projects. Based on its technological advantage and R&D strength, Chipjet claims to have the ability to proactively satisfy market demand and provide replacement chips resilient to annoying and inconvenient OEM updates for consumers.
