Chipjet Releases Compatible Chip for Brother Series
China-based Chipjet has launched a compatible toner cartridge chip for the Brother TN229/TN2510 series. According to Chipjet, the self-developed chip is featured with:
- OEM size
- Multiple serial numbers
- Suitable for various cartridges
- Support for customized page yield
“Collocating with ChipStation series devices, the chip is capable of withstanding printer firmware updates. It works with several Brother laser printers,” said the spokesperson of Chipjet.

About Printers
Since September 2023, Brother has launched HL-L2460DW/HL-L5210DN monochrome laser printers and DCP-L3560CDW colour laser printers. For example, the HL-L2460DW printer supports automatic duplex printing and flexible connection options including dual-band wireless, Ethernet and USB 2.0.

Previously, Chipjet released its self-developed compatible toner cartridge chip for use in the HP CF277 series.
Chipjet claims that it is the first OEM-sized compatible chip without a battery. “This chip is easy to install and capable of withstanding printer firmware updates,” said the spokesperson of Chipjet. It works with HP laser printers, such as HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M430f.
