Dinglong Forecasts Significant Profit Increase for H1 2024

Hubei Dinglong has recently disclosed its semiannual performance forecast for the first half of 2024 (H1), projecting a substantial rise in net profit compared to the previous year.

For the first half of 2024, Dinglong predicts a net profit attributable to the parent company ranging from CNY ￥201.33 to ￥221.05 million (USD $27.69 to $30.40 million), marking an increase of 110%-130% compared to the same period last year. For the second quarter, the goal is set at CNY  ￥119.75-￥138.92 million (USD $16.47 to $19.11 million), reflecting a rise of 95.87%-127.24%. This optimistic forecast stems from a significant increase in the activation rate of the Chinese semiconductor and OLED panel industries. The growth in market share also contributes to Dinglong’s confidence.

The printer and copier consumable business showed steady growth, with an estimated H1 revenue of CNY ￥880 million (USD $121.09 million). This result has been achieved through cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and product structure optimization, which have granted Dinglong essential competitiveness in the industry. Additionally, a range of new products are currently undergoing testing, indicating a promising future for Dinglong.

Regarding the company’s photoelectric semiconductor business, Dinglong witnessed robust growth. In the second quarter, revenue generated from CMP polishing pads increased by 92.77%, while CMP polishing and cleansing agents saw a surge of 179.13% in income. By eliminating the monopoly of foreign manufacturers on CMP polishing pads, Dinglong is expediting the transition of key products and propelling continuous technological development.

Based on the above analysis, the adjusted net profits of Dinglong from 2024 to 2026 are projected to be CNY ￥429, ￥575, and ￥697 million (USD $59.02, $79.07, and $95.91 million) respectively.
