Dinglong Records Robust Growth in First Half of 2024

Dinglong recently released its financial report for the first half of fiscal year 2024, recording strong growth in revenue and gross profit.

For the first half of this year, Dinglong achieved a revenue of CN￥1.519 billion (US$213.2 million), up by 31.01% compared to the same period last year, and gross profit attributable to shareholders of CN￥218 million (US$30.6 million), up by 127.22%. Regarding metrics for the second quarter, revenue and gross profit amounted to CN￥811 million (US$113.8 million) and CN￥136 million (US$19.1 million) respectively.

The dramatic increase was mainly attributed to the company’s quick and continuous effort to expand semiconductor markets. Furthermore, improved production efficiency brought by large-scale production has also led to the growth of the semiconductor businesses.

On the other hand, the printing and copying consumable segment also witnessed stable growth in profitability. For the first half of 2024, the total revenue for this business was CN￥867 million (US$121.7 million), up by 4.05%. The increase of profitability was reflected in the higher revenue of color toner, developing roller, imaging drum and ink cartridge.

According to the semiannual financial report, Dinglong has invested CN￥219 million (US$30.7 million), accounting for 14.42% of its total operation revenue. Dinglong plans to continue its aggressive push into semiconductor materials while maintaining steady growth in its core printer segment. The company also remains committed to its sustainability goals, emphasising the development of remanufactured consumables.
