Dingyi Unveils China’s First Wide-Format Digital Sublimation Printer

Dingyi Technology recently held a product launch event in Hengyang , officially introducing the DTP-330, the world’s first 330mm wide-format digital sublimation imaging soft-label printer.

This innovative green printing device marks a breakthrough in the industry, overcoming the limitations of traditional laser, inkjet, and offset printing technologies. The DTP-330 is the first to disrupt the monopoly of foreign technologies, particularly in nano sublimation ribbon core technology and processes, filling a gap in China’s technology landscape.

The launch of the DTP-330 represents a significant milestone for Dingyi in printing technology development. After six years of research and a CNY 150 million investment, the company’s research team has achieved full autonomy in software algorithms, hardware design, and printing materials across nine sub-fields. The result is a highly efficient, eco-friendly digital printing solution with a 1.3-meter print width, delivering high-fidelity photo quality at reduced material costs. This printer is highly suitable for industries such as signage, packaging materials, and more, providing businesses with an affordable and sustainable option for their printing needs.

As shared by Dingyi Technology’s General Manager Xu Zhigang, the DTP-330 offers a print accuracy of ±0.035mm and color reproduction of up to 90% of the Pantone color range, offering exceptional color consistency. More significantly, the printer’s cost is just one-tenth that of similar foreign digital printing devices, with all printer consumables being independently developed and manufactured. This reduces supply lead times and material costs, further enhancing the printer’s competitiveness.

Dingyi has been recognized as a leading force in green printing for its specialized technology. With the release of the DTP-330, Dingyi aims to change the dependence on foreign core technologies and imported consumables in China’s printing sector, offering a homegrown solution for the industry’s future.
