Epson Expands WorkForce Pro Lineup with New A3 Color Devices

Epson America, Inc. has introduced two new A3 color printers to its WorkForce Pro business print portfolio: the EM-C7100 color multifunction printer (MFP) and the EP-C7000 color printer. Designed for business environments, these devices aim to deliver reliable performance, high-quality output, and energy efficiency while reducing operational costs.

Performance and Productivity

Both the EM-C7100 and EP-C7000 offer print speeds of up to 25 ISO ppm (black/color) with zero warmup time, accommodating paper sizes up to A3 (Letter/Legal/11”x17”). They support a recommended monthly print volume of 1,500 to 7,000 pages, catering to high-volume office environments. To minimize user intervention, the devices utilize high-yield ink replacement cartridges capable of printing up to 11,500 ISO pages in black and 8,000 ISO pages in color.

Enhanced Functionality

The EM-C7100 provides advanced features, including auto two-sided printing, copying, duplex scanning at speeds up to 45 images per minute (ipm), and faxing capabilities. Its 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and compact footprint make it suitable for streamlined workstations. Both models utilize DURABrite® Pro pigment ink for fast-drying, water-resistant prints with vivid color and crisp black text.

Security and Workflow Integration

Equipped with advanced security features such as TLS 1.3 and SNMPv3, the EM-C7100 and EP-C7000 ensure secure data handling. They are compatible with Epson Solutions Suite, third-party solutions, and the Epson Open Platform, enabling seamless integration into existing workflows.

Sustainability and Cost Efficiency

The devices emphasize sustainability, offering low power consumption and a reduced total cost of ownership. Designed to address common business concerns like waiting, waste, and disruption, they align with the growing demand for environmentally friendly and cost-effective printing solutions.

The EM-C7100 replaces the WorkForce Pro WF-C8690, and the EP-C7000 succeeds the WorkForce Pro WF-C8190, further enhancing Epson’s lineup of business printing solutions. Both models are now available through authorized BusinessFirstSM Platinum and select Gold and Silver distribution partners.
