Epson Intros New Range of Printers in Nepal

Mercantile Office Systems—sole authorised distributor of Epson for Nepal—has announced the launch of the M-series range of economical mono ink tank inkjet printers.

The colour ink tank system printers launched earlier had been hugely successful and well accepted by consumers in Nepal. The newly launched M-series range of monochrome inkjet printers are for corporates who primarily print black and white documents and who demand the lowest running costs possible along with crisp print quality.

When many people think of office printing in Nepal they think laser. We are here to change this. We are absolutely confident that our M-series printers will drive the shift from laser to inkjet printing, Mercantile said in a statement.

The new business inkjet models launched are Epson M100 single function mono ink tank system printer at a price of Rs 23,500, and Epson M200 all-in-one mono ink tank system printer priced at Rs 38,000.

The new series of printers are compact and equipped to print a volume of 8000 pages. The cost per page will be 25 paisa that is 90 per cent lower compared to genuine laser toner and 70 per cent lower than third party refilled laser toner cartridges.

The printers also provide assured reliability with their long life span rated at 50,000 pages. The printers are available at Mercantile’s 30 retail outlets across country with a year’s or 50,000 prints warranty, whichever comes earlier.
