Epson Releases Printers for Kenya Market
According to industry reports, Epson has launched a new range of compact printers—the LX-350 Series of dot matrix printers. These devices offer multiple connectivity options, including parallel, serial and USB interfaces, thereby permitting quick integration with existing systems. It is also compact in size so that it fits well as a desktop installation.
The LX-350 Series consumes between 24 and 27 watts of power when turned on and barely over one watt when in standby mode—a feature that qualifies the Series as energy efficient.
Mukesh Bector, Regional Sales Manager at Epson, said, “Reliable, compact and economical, the Epson LX-350 has all your printing needs covered. Small and light enough to be used almost anywhere, the LX-350 also has incredibly low power consumption, helping to keep your carbon emissions and running costs down.”
The new printers have been developed by Epson to cater specifically to the local business community in Kenya, especially with its quality, reliable, after sale service. Bector says this will enhance the company’s business growth in East Africa. Epson has also introduced Label Works printers for the retail market in the region and Ultra-Short Throw projectors designed for learning institutions.
