Epson Supports Internet Learning Program in Hong Kong
Epson Hong Kong claims to have been selected by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer as the first printer supplier for the Hong Kong government’s i Learn at Home internet learning support program.
According to Epson, it was recommended that printers should be added to the program to help the learning needs of students in the mid-term review.
In the 2013-2014 academic year, Epson will provide either the Epson L300 and the Epson WorkForce WF-2531 multi-function inkjet printer for more than 200,000 target families at affordable prices. For inquiries and purchases, these families can contact the program implementers, The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong and WebOrganic.
i Learn at Home is a five year program initiated on July 14, 2011, designed to help students from low-income families in Hong Kong with web-based learning at home to improve their performance in school.
