Background on Stuart Lacey

Stuart Lacey began his career in the office supplies industry 30 years ago, swiftly rising through the ranks to become a pivotal figure. He started at PPC Copiers in London before moving to Paris to manage international markets. Recognizing the growing demand for parts and supplies for remanufacturing printer cartridges, Lacey joined Jan De Kesel at CopyFill in Belgium, where he co-founded CF Supplies.

Lacey’s career took a significant turn when he joined Static Control Components (SCC), where he managed key accounts and eventually international markets. His deep connection with Africa began in Kenya, where he initially worked managing a ranch and later built safari camps and lodges. His extensive experience in Africa’s diverse and challenging markets has made him a unique asset to the industry.

In his 23 years with SCC, Lacey was instrumental in establishing and managing operations across Turkey, Dubai, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. His expertise in navigating Africa’s complex business environment has been unparalleled, making him an ideal speaker to address the growing opportunities in this region.
