Green Project Obtains Patent on “GP” Gear
Green Project, an innovative and environmentally dedicated supplier of remanufactured ink and toner cartridges, announced it has obtained patent No. 8,628,269 on its “GP” gear technology for replacement OPC drums by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
According to Green Project, the patented gear is used for OPC drums with various toner cartridges for laser printers. Plus, the “GP” gear with the unique layout and features is designed to meet the need for a high quality print that consumers expect.
As was revealed, each “GP” gear contains special markings as well as a bright green coloration, which will help customers for quick and easy identification. Also, the gear “incorporates a covert authentication platform developed by TruTag Technologies”. The company believes that this platform will help customer identify the true “GP” gear.
Joseph Wu, President of Green Project, said, “We are very excited that not only has our gear been inspected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, our gear is now accepted and patented by the USPTO office. Other companies may claim that they have a different gear; however our gear is a Patented Gear. It was important for us to not only be different, but to have it Patented.”
Green Project added that it “will offer the “GP” gear in most of their popular monochrome and color toner cartridges”.
