HP Addresses Global Workforce Mobility with New Printers and Solutions
Along with the launch of secure mobile print solutions, HP announced it has released a range of new products, including single-function printers (SFPs), multifunction printers (MFPs), scanners and solutions.
HP noted that 37% of the global workforce will be mobile by 2015 and it claims its “New Style of IT”—which helps address a generational evolution in enterprise Information Technology—contains business printing technologies enhancing productivity in a hybrid paper-and-digital world.
Pradeep Jotwani, Senior Vice President for LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions at HP, suggested that organizations should adapt quickly to the IT changes and figure out how to deal with the large number of data and processes from a growing mobile workforce. Also, Jotwani believes HP’s new innovations and an updated LaserJet printing portfolio can “help improve customers’ mobile print experience and transform the management of digital and print workflows for potentially greater business performance.”
As was announced by HP, the new mobile printing solutions include HP 1200w Mobile Print Accessory, HP JetDirect 2800w for FutureSmart Fleet, HP LaserJet Enterprise M800 series, HP ePrint Enterprise, HP Flow CM Professional 1.2 and HP Capture and Route 1.3. Plus, HP’s new addition of LaserJet portfolio include HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow 5000 s2, HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125/M127 series, HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176/M177 series, HP Embedded Capture and HP Access Control 13.0.
