HYB to Develop its Own Toners

Building on its reputation of supplying superior quality components for laser printer cartridges, China-based HYB says it will get into the development of toners as well.

The company claims its customers want toners that are equivalent to genuine toner performance. For years, HYB has been an authorized channel for global distributors who are looking for catalogue-listed bulk toner made by HGOA, Daiken Chemicals as well as other toner manufacturers.

Now, HYB claims it has reached an agreement with its manufacturers for the development of its own exclusive formulations in order to satisfy its customers’ demands.

“The huge investment of time and costs will eventually deliver a good product our customers are asking for,” a company spokesperson told RT Media. “With 22 years of experience in the business of specialty and knowhow from our own R&D, HYB has developed multiple options for our own distributors and customers who are looking for tailor-made products.”

In 2018, HYB released its first exclusive color toner for use in Xerox DC-IV C 2270 – C 5570, DC-IV C 2275 – C 5575, DC-V C 2275-C7775, DC-V C2276-C7776, DOCUCOLOR 550, 560, 570, 450, 250 and 700 DIGITAL PHASER 7500, 7800, WORKCENTRE 7425, 7120, 7525 and 7823. The great popularity and satisfaction gained from customers encouraged HYB to continue their development and launch other new formulations.

In 2019, HYB’s conventional toner production line in Japan started producing color toners for use in Canon devices for their first batch of customers who tested and made trial orders. The toner HYB developed is suitable for major popular Canon machines such as iR-ADV C5560, C5550, C5540, C5535, IR C3020, 3320, 3330, 3325, 3520, 3525, 3530 and IR C5045, C5051, C5250, C5255, IR C5035, C5030, C5235 and C5240 models.

“The new toner for use in Xerox DocuCentre-VI C2271 has been approved and under testing by key dealers so we can expect to release a new toner for use in various Xerox Generation VI Copiers shortly.” The company said. HYB established its own laboratory which is equipped with machines to conduct testing and measurement so as to keep subcontractor-manufactured toners in line with their standard.

HYB reveals it will open its own bulk toner catalogue in the near future.
