Industry Supports Global Reman Day
Happy Global Reman Day to all remanufacturers!
To address the importance and influence of remanufacturing, C-RT has been celebrating Reman Day every year since 2019.
This year, C-RT received video clips from printer and cartridge remanufacturers from around the world, sharing their messages about why remanufacturing is important.
C-RT wants to express thanks to these remanufacturers who participated in time and those who couldn’t make it this year. Thank you for caring for the planet.
“It’s important to celebrate Reman Day with the industry. Celebrating together will stimulate passion to continue to find solutions that are better for the planet,” said Victoria Zhao, general manager of C-RT.
Reman Day is an annual global event that takes place each year on the 2nd Thursday of April. This year, Global Reman Day falls on April 13. Established in 2017, Reman Day aims to educate the world about the value of remanufacturing and draw attention to the critical role it plays in the circular economy.
On this day, remanufacturers from different fields would register their own events to celebrate.
Traditionally, Reman Day is executed at the local level through various activities to create learning experiences, demonstrate industry best practices and share professional developments.
Reman Day is jointly initiated by the Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) and six remanufacturing sector associations – Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA), Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA), Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA), International Imaging Technology Council (I-ITC), Professional Electrical Apparatus Reconditioning League (PEARL) and Production Engine Remanufacturing Association (PERA).
