International Open Quality Printing Contest Completes

According to Business Inform, 22 Russian and 14 international brands have become the finalists of the International Open Quality Printing Contest (2021-03).

The contest has chosen the best non-OEM Brother TN-3480 cartridges and the best aftermarket toners for Brother TN-3480 cartridges.

According to the results of the testing done within the framework of the International Open Quality Printing Contest (2021-03), the declared winner for compatible toners is Mitsubishi UT19B3 (supplier –  Delacamp AG, Germany). Contest nominees are Toners for remanufacturing, Tomoegawa BR-14, and Mitsubishi UT19B2.

Mitsubishi and Tomoegawa toners will be presented to the large Russian office printing devices buyers during the “Business-Inform” conference in the first quarter of 2022 (Q1 2022) as recommended for Brother cartridges remanufacturing.

Besides, Mitsubishi and Tomoegawa toners (as well as suppliers which submitted them for the Contest) are chosen by the public specifier-of-the-testing as the ones invited for toner supply bids for Brother cartridge-remanufacturing on the alternative market in the first half of 2022.

According to the results of the best non-OEM Brother TN-3480 cartridge testing (for both remanufactured OEM-cartridges and newly-built cartridges), all submitted cartridges provided are proved to deliver high quality prints, but none of them reached the claimed yield of 8000 pages. To this end, the organizers decided not to declare winners in the “Cartridges” nomination.

Information Agency “Business-Inform” and the Russian Association AQCMS co-organized this contest.
