IR Italiana Grants New Certifications
Italian remanufacturer IR Italiana announces it has been granted certifications for health and safety and environmental claims. IR stated that these certifications reflect that the company’s commitment to focusing on product quality, customer service as well as the nature of the business.
As was reported by The Recycler, IR Italiana revealed that the first of the new certifications granted is the BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 for health and safety at work. The company said it lays great emphasis on safety and health at work and decided to invest in the resources for better operation. IR added: “To have received this certification is a source of pride and a great satisfaction for all employees of IR.”
In terms of product certifications, IR received the UNI EN ISO 14021 ISO: 2012 certificate for environmental claims. Also, IR was required to prove to the STMC (Standardised Test Methods Committee) that the company brings a globally recognized standard method of applications to set some properties of toner cartridges like the number of pages printed, the toner density and the quality of the solids. The company was confident to achieve this with its sufficiently trained staff.
Besides, IR announced that all of its products comply with the REACH regulation concerning the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemical substances to protect human health and the environment.
