ISC Appoints New Chair to Fight Illegal Cartridge Supplies rtmworldThe Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at their annual meeting held June 23, 2020.

Rafi Haqqani (pictured), Director of Marketing, Supplies and Accessories, Business Machine Group at Brother International was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Praveen Kallayil of HP.

Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, “The members and board of directors want to thank Praveen for his proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Rafi Haqqani, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”

Carl Nielsen, Manager, Global Brand Protection, Xerox Corporation was named Chair-Elect. Jennifer Dirks, Brand Protection, Epson America was elected  Secretary. Andrew Gardner, WW Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark was elected to continue in his role as treasurer.

Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”

Coalition members are Brother International Corporation, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Epson America Inc., HP Inc., Lexmark International, Inc., and Xerox Corporation.
