Ivan Rosales Joins Recycling Times Media
Well known industry identity Ivan Rosales will help expand the Latin American market for Recycling Times Media, working as a Latin American representative, while based in Mexico.
Ivan is an electronics engineer and holds a masters degree in administration and finance. He started his own recycled toners company named CIRSA in 1996, which continues to be one of the most important in the Mexican industry. Ivan has also worked as president and general manager of the Latin-American Recycled Cartridges Association between January 2000 and August 2006. He implemented training programs in management, technical and commercial consulting for companies in Argentina, Panama, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. He has been a speaker at trade shows in Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, USA and Mexico.
He also directed and operated the annual convention of imaging industry members in Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco and Cancun, and was a member and advisor for the Latin America chapter on the “World Council of Recycled Toners” for the I-ITC. Ivan founded the Reciclador Latino magazine for the Latin American Association (ARTLA), and wrote the “President’s Welcome” section in every issue as well as several “general articles” and “technical guides”. He was also a contributing writer for Recharger Magazine.
In his new role with Recycling Times Media, Ivan will contact key players in the Latin American industry: dealers, recyclers, importers, merchants and advertisers, helping Recycling Times to expand further into the Latin American market.
According to Ivan: “I am very happy to be part of the prestigious international Recycling Times Media. We’re working on the Spanish version of the magazine and the implementation and management of a digital network in Latin America to fill the void between cartridge recyclers. This network will include a website, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Blog), and mobile applications to encourage contact, trade, technological dissemination and participation at our events among members of the industry within the region. I invite all interested parties to contact me to explore this exciting area of the world where big business can be closed.”
Tony Lee—Managing Director of Recycling Times Media is delighted to have Ivan on board as part of the team. “Ivan is well known in Latin America. We believe he can help us increase the exposure in marketing, editorial and sales in the region.”
Phyllis Gurgevich, consulting editor of Recycling Times Magazine, and former publisher of Recharger Magazine, said “Ivan is passionate and knowledgeable about this industry and is a notable addition to our global team.”
