Judge Urges Focus on Recycling Ahead of Glasgow
According to Tricia Judge (pictured), many industries are focusing on recycling and re-use and she urges the imaging supplies industry to be more proactive than ever given the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Judge is the Executive Director of the International Imaging Technology Council and she has sent an open letter to industry leaders and association members.
She cites the September 14, 2021 flight by a British Airways plane from London to Glasgow on sustainable fuel made of recycled cooking oil.
Recently Dove released its new reusable container for deodorant.
“Reuse is hot,” said Judge. “Climate change becomes more apparent, especially after the extremely hot, record-breaking summer. Government, consumers and businesses of all sizes want sustainable solutions, which remanufacturing provides.”
Tricia Judge has served as the executive director of the International Imaging Technology Council—a not-for-profit trade association serving imaging supplies remanufacturers and dealers—for 17 years. She was the executive editor of Recharger magazine for five years and a lawyer for 30 years. Judge’s work has been published in Recharger, Imaging Spectrum and several other industry magazines.
