Kilider to Address Customer Pain Points with Innovative Solutions at RemaxWorld

According to China-based Kilider, several Ricoh copier devices have a known issue where the carrier in the developer spills onto the drum frame during transportation.

Kilider will demonstrate solutions designed to address the pain points related to these issues during the RemaxWorld Expo 2024, which will be held from October 17 to 19. According to the spokesperson from Kilider, visitors can expect to learn more about the following solutions at their booth No. 2310.

A Kilider company spokesperson explained the issue where the carrier in the developer spills onto the drum frame, causes the magnetic roller and gear inside the drum component to stick together. This problem requires users to disassemble and clean the components before use.

To solve this problem, Kilider’s technical team purchased many original Ricoh drum units and machines for research, testing, and technical analysis.

Kilider has now innovatively developed and manufactured new drum units for use in Ricoh MPC3503, 3504, MPC6003, 6004, IMC3500, 3510, and the IMC6000/6010 A3 color series of printers.

“We adjusted the positions and parameters of the internal components of the drum assembly, leaving a reasonable space between the magnetic roller and the developer to seal and isolate the carrier,”said the spokesperson. “Our new drum unit has passed vibration and long-distance transportation tests, effectively avoiding component and gear jamming caused by carrier overflow.”

Having passed environmental and printing tests, Kilider claims its new drum unit can print up to 150,000 pages, which is 30,000 pages more than the OEM’s standard.

The spokesperson revealed that Kilider has also developed drum units that can be used universally for different machines by optimizing the original drum units’ structure and some component parameters.

Kilider addressed these issues by utilizing a dual-sided stirring principle, where each side stirs 50% of the toner., ensuring even distribution and reducing resistance. This allows for a thinner shaft and eliminating additional accessories for the stirring blade.

According to Kilider, the cartridge’s design features a one-piece structure on both sides, facilitating toner filling and reducing material costs. The cost of empty toner cartridges is halved compared to the original.

“The product has received high recognition and praise from customers, as it not only accurately avoids the original patent but also meets customers’ requirements to reduce cost,” said the spokesperson.

The spokesperson stated that the product has obtained patent certificates for inventions from the European Union, the United States, and China, providing new ideas for the aftermarket consumables industry.
