Kodak Alaris Announces Upgraded Document Scanners
Kodak Alaris has announced two new additions to its document scanners lineup. According to Print it Reseller, the S3000 Series and the S3000 Max Series scanners—upgraded successors to the KODAK S2085f Scanner, offer an expanded range of flexible options designed to meet evolving customer needs.
Delivering exceptional speed, accuracy and unmatched flexibility, these upgraded scanners are engineered to enable seamless and versatile workflow automation in any business context.
In addition, the new scanners feature several image processing modes that are unique in the scanner market. To maximize user convenience, the scanners allow for easy switching between imaging modes, optimizing scanning operations for specific workflows. Host image processing optimises scanning speed by leveraging the resources of an attached PC, which is often preferred in high-volume production environments where speed is critical.
Alternatively, onboard image processing reduces demands on the PC to free up resources for other operations while scanning.
The new models also meet the standards and requirements of the US Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) straight out of the box, with a simple switch available to enable FADGI processing as needed.
“This latest refresh builds on our long history of leadership in the document capture space and further enhances our broad scanner portfolio, combining unparalleled ease of use with proprietary features to make it easy for users to capture paper-based information and quickly and accurately deliver the data into core business applications. With the introduction of multiple image processing modes, we can provide our customers with much greater flexibility to support their business and enable productivity growth that lasts,” said Megan Bevilacqua, Senior Product Manager at Kodak Alaris.
