“Welsh is currently spoken by around a fifth of the population of Wales and the Welsh Government is passionate about protecting the language. Ambitious targets have been set to increase its usage, with a target of one million Welsh speakers by 2050. This process includes greater recognition of Welsh in everyday products to encourage its day to day use,” says Malcolm Smith, Product Marketing Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd.

“Konica Minolta strives for inclusion of all our customers, and we are proud to support the protection and promotion of the Welsh language through our products and solutions. We can provide full Welsh language support, whether through our MFDs alone, or via our solutions,” adds Malcolm. “On that basis we are ideally positioned to support organisations throughout the country, such as the National Assembly of Wales, local councils, schools, BBC and wider private sector.”

Welsh language support is available for the panel and drivers of the latest IoT enabled bizhub i-Series colour devices as well as the older 7, 8 and 9 series devices.

Konica Minolta has a strong heritage and robust logistical presence in Wales, with a prominent market position and a dedicated local service team based in the country, along with a regional office in Swansea that closely supports partners and customers.
