Konica Minolta Acquires Continuity Solutions to Expand its Services
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Konica Minolta) has announced that it has acquired Managed IT Services Provider (MSP), Continuity Solutions Ltd. (Continuity Solutions). Continuity Solutions is based in Calgary, Alberta. The company has been led by founder and CEO, Ray Archer. Continuity Solutions has a client-first approach and a business model that make it a positive addition to Konica Minolta’s IT Services division.
In a press statement, Archer said, “my promise to my customers has always been to do what is best for their business, and I believe this acquisition will allow me to deliver on that promise, and then some. As a Managed IT Service Provider, our top priority has always been to safeguard our clients’ technology investment and, with the added bandwidth, manpower, and technological capabilities that Konica Minolta affords, our clients can rest assured knowing they’re supported by one of the best in the industry.”
Continuity Solutions’ team will be joining Konica Minolta’s IT Services division (IT Weapons). Konica Minolta’s IT Services division has recently received industry recognition, having been named to CRN’s MSP 500 list in the Pioneer 250 category, in addition to being named one of the top 50 Managed Service Providers in Canada for the second year in a row. In order to expand the accessibility of its service offerings nationally, the division has also launched eight IT-service Client Experience Centers across Canada, including one Centre in Calgary.
President of IT Weapons, the IT Services division of Konica Minolta, Ted Garner, added “this acquisition represents another step forward in our ongoing national expansion, as well as delivering on our promise to our clients to provide them with excellent support anywhere in Canada. Continuity Solutions’ focus on continuity planning, cloud services, and high availability complements our core strengths as a nationwide MSP. We’re excited to make this addition to the Konica Minolta family, which further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the current and future needs of the business nationwide.”
