Takahiro Sato joined Mita in March 1996, working in Export Sales before moving to Kyocera Mita Europe in January 2000 as manager of the CIS department focusing on Russia. During this time he successfully completed an Executive MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management and promotion followed to the position of Corporate Strategy Manager, Kyocera Mita France SAS and subsequently to General Manager. Sato’s proven track record was rewarded with an invitation to become an ‘Inamori Fellow’, a prestigious programme organised by the Inamori Foundation and open to only a very select group of the best business leaders.
Sato comments, “I am delighted to take on this new opportunity and hope my leadership qualities and management style will give Europe the drive that is needed in this exciting time for Kyocera. We are built on strong partnerships and they remain the key to our future success. As we accelerate our transformation, further building solutions that integrate document input, archiving, optimisation and output, the success of our partners will remain the focus of our development. The market is evolving very quickly with advances in mobile devices and Kyocera Europe embraces the challenge.”
