Kyocera Sets up Subsidiary in China

Kyocera Document Solutions announced that its new subsidiary in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, Kyocera Document Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. began operations in June. The OEM claims with the new facility, it will strengthen its manufacturing through procurement of premium high-quality components, advancement of R&D and marketing.

The new company demonstrated the OEM’s ambition to meet the evolving needs of the global market.

Takashi Masuda, President of Kyocera, revealed the new company hopes to expand business with parts manufacturers in southern China, which he deemed has “a high concentration of outstanding human resources with advanced technological know-how and skills, as well as with parts manufacturers based in South-East Asia”. Also, the company will “establish mutually beneficial partnerships through technical assistance for new parts manufacturing and guidance pertaining to quality control and supply systems”.
