Leading Blade Manufacturer Invests in Better Meeting Customer Needs

Teamsung, which develops and produces magnetic series printers and PU blades for copiers has opened a new industrial park in Tanzhou—close to Zhuhai, the “world capital of consumables”.

In order to be closer to its customers and the market, the company moved to Tanzhou in 2009, and changed its name to Zhongshan Teamsung Office Equipment Co., Ltd.

The company invested 250 million yuan (US$36.1 million) in the construction of the Teamsung Industrial Park in Yongmo Village. The ​​68,000 square meter project is on 26.7 hectares (66 acres). The construction was completed earlier in 2022. The project was designed to combine a printer accessories industrial park and a polymer material research and development center, with an estimated annual output value of 800 million yuan (US$115.6 million).

In 2006, Joke Tang(pictured upper right) founded Teamsung in Dongguan, Guangdong, focusing on R&D and production of non-magnetic series metal blades for laser printers. The company quickly grew from a humble startup thanks to its adherence to the enterprise spirit of unity, pragmatism, hard work and innovation. “We seized the development opportunities of the industry and made great progress in blade manufacturing technology and business volume,” said Tang.

In 2012, the PU production line was officially put into operation, and it developed and produced magnetic series printers and PU blades for copiers. The series products are compatible with components from Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp, HP, Samsung, Brother and other brands. In 2014, “Teamsung Import and Export Company” was established to officially enter the overseas market.

In 2016, Teamsung acquired “Weihai Yuhe Electronics” which is an R&D and manufacturing enterprise of developer rollers and PCR. Since then, it officially entered the DR and PCR market, providing customers with more product solutions.

In 2017, the company changed its name to Zhongshan Teamsung New Materials Co., Ltd. Upholding a business philosophy of “winning the market with quality and reputation”, the company has constantly innovated technologies in various related fields. “We have invested a lot in the development of polymer materials for use in printer parts, such as polyurethane, polyimide materials, and the conductive and thermal conductive film products. The R&D and application of electrical and thermal conductivity of rubber and silicone materials earned us more than 40 product patents,” said Tang.

Over the years, Teamsung has also been committed to independent research and development of advanced automated manufacturing equipment, innovative manufacturing processes, and the establishment of a production process control system which is higher than the industry standard.

At present, Teamsung’s blade, developer roller and other products enjoy a high market share, with an annual turnover of more than US$40 million. Its whole product range has more than 2,300 product types and more than 13,000 compatible models, with a monthly production capacity of more than 20 million units. After years of market inspection and certification, Teamsung’s products are recognized by its global customers for their compatibility and stability.
